Andy Poss, inventor of The Alabama Rig®, and Mann’s Bait Company announce the introduction of The Alabama Rig® II specifically designed for the salt water market. The Alabama Rig® II features heavier wires and hardware to handle the larger saltwater species. The special wires feature hardware with 70+ pounds of breaking strength and a special clip system that allows the fisherman to change the swivel and snap to one of his choice or replace a damaged one.
With Randy Howell's second straight 14th place finish
on the Bassmaster Elite Series and third consecutive top-20 he has now surpassed the $1 million earnings mark with BASS. To date Howell has earned $1,002,327.00 with BASS in 206 events.
During his climb to the million mark Howell has amassed 24 top ten finishes and appeared in the Bassmaster Classic ten times. He has one victory, one second place finish and one third place finish. His victory came in 2004 on Lake Dardanelle in Russellville, Arkansas. "BASS has been great to me. I enjoy the people who run it, the events themselves and especially the fans of the sport. I am very excited about the new leadership of BASS and I know the future in their hands is very bright.
